Schloss Leopoldskron

With 55 rooms in the Meierhof, 12 suites in the castle and two townhouses, historic Schloss Leopoldskron is a discreet retreat just minutes from Salzburg's old town.
Built in 1736 and surrounded by a seven-acre park, the castle sits on a small, idyllic pond with magnificent views of the mountains and Hohensalzburg Fortress.
The castle is privately owned by Salzburg Global Seminar, an international non-profit organization whose mission is to "challenge today's and tomorrow's leaders to shape a better world." The castle is exclusively for hotel guests and seminar and event participants and not open to the public.
